Looking for a fast, fun way to create your very own, handmade baby shower invitation? I was! This article will help you step by step to create a very cute diaper shaped card.

Supplies:
8 ½ x 11 Cardstock, Color Printer (optional), Diaper and Safety Pin Pattern, Inkssentials Glossy Accents (optional), Metal Wire, Ribbon, Scissors and Glue or Glue Dots.
Instructions:
* Create Diaper
o Print downloadable Baby Diaper in blue or pink or print black & white diaper pattern. If you print black & white diaper cut and trace it on to a patterned cardstock of you choice.
o Cut out diaper, then fold as indicated by dotted lines and secure with glue or glue dots.
* Create Safety Pin.
o Print our downloadable safety pin top or print black & white safety pin pattern. If you print black & white safety pin cut and trace it on to a patterned cardstock of you choice. Cut out safety pin top. To add a little dimension cover with Inkssentials Glossy Accents.
o Cut 3 in length of metal wire. Using the end of a pen or pencil wrap the wire from the center to create a small circle. Then shape wire to look like a safety pin. Use glue dots to secure wire to the back of the safety pin top and then to the diaper.
* Create Invitation or Announcement Insert.
o Divide an 8 ½ x 11 pages into fourths. Add decorative digital paper, embellishments and text as desired. If you are creating Birth Announcements size photo to fit 4 per page, then print and cut.
o Cut 2 in length of decorative ribbon, fold and staple to the top corner of your invitation or announcement.
